KYRA DAVIS: Killer Kyra’s Red Hot (If You Believe the Media)

Well the media for my book is beginning to really take off. The Santa Cruz Good Times gave me a two page spread in their A&E section. The title of the article? “Killer Kyra.” Got to love that.

And of course you HAVE to love the two page adaptation of my book that Cosmo is running in their July issue! I’m a “Red Hot Read” people!

If you’re planning on being in the Santa Cruz area on Thursday the 22nd or if you’ve been looking for an excuse to go to Santa Cruz then you should pencil in my 7:30 Capitola Book Café reading. The Capitola Book Café is a wonderful bookstore and they’ve hosted many of the “greats” including David Sedaris, Jane Fonda and Rita Mae Brown. I’m honored to be invited to speak there (plus they make great lattes which they give me for free on the day of my events.

I'm so glad to have met you...Thanks for stopping in San Diego! My Mom was so happy that you signed her copy of SM&DL. I'm hanging in there with the indigestion, morning sickness and fatigue. I'm still planning on visiting the Bay area for our yahoo sucias gathering in late July, so I will email you soon with the details and the picture I took with you.
Oh, and your poor son! I'm glad he, and you got well enough to enjoy Sea World.

I didn't want to tell the world about your condition without your go-ahead but now that you've let on about the morning sickness et al I’ll go ahead and make the announcement:

Priscilla's fatigue and nausea is not due to a hang-over, she is pregnant! A huge congratulations to her and her family!

Definitely let me know what's up in July. I've been insanely busy but I'd really love to be a part of that! And yes, my son suffered bravely but the pay-off was pretty good so I don't think he's complaining too much.
