Thank You

So today I was working on the third Sophie book,Obsession, Deceit and Really Dark Chocolate. I was in the middle of editing a scene, checking to make sure that the banter was funny and cutting without being overly abrasive and that the sexual tension between Sophie and you-know-who was intense enough to make my readers crave some dark chocolate espresso beans of their own when it hit me; this is what I do for a living. I sit down and create crazy characters who are constantly getting themselves into trouble and having a great time doing so and people PAY ME FOR THAT!

It still amazes me that this is my life. I can’t believe that I have a name that is internationally recognized, that people in the publishing world want to work with me and that other authors actually ask me for advice! Everyday I get more emails from readers who want to thank me for bringing them Sophie. They’re actually thanking me for doing something that I LOVE!

It’s hard to believe that I could be so lucky.

Anyway, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all of your support. I know I’ve said this before but it bears repeating:

You have made my dreams come true and for that I will always be grateful.
